Five fire tenders and two water bowers were deployed to combat the flames that threatened the market’s integrity. Despite the presence of a fire safety system, the inferno proved formidable, causing extensive damage to over 100 shops and resulting in a multimillion-rupee loss for traders, as reported by Saddar Electronics Dealers Association President, Rizwan Irfan.

The fire brigade resorted to breaking the locks and shutters of the shops in an attempt to extinguish the fire. Efforts to regain control and ensure the safety of the area and its residents are ongoing.
