Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced a new age restriction policy for the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. Pilgrims under 15 years old will no longer be eligible to travel for Hajj from May 27, 2026.

Pakistan’s aviation authority, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), has been directed to enforce this decision immediately at all airports in the country. All Hajj visas issued to underage pilgrims have been cancelled by PAA.

Saudi officials have assured that affected individuals will receive full refunds for their travel expenses. The new policy is set to be implemented without delay, with strict enforcement expected across all departure points in Pakistan.
