The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced that all passengers traveling from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia must present a valid polio vaccination certificate upon arrival.

The new regulation, effective immediately, mandates that the certificate must show the passenger received the polio vaccine within the past four weeks but no more than six months prior to travel. Certificates older than six months will not be accepted.

Airlines have been informed of the new rule and warned that non-compliance will lead to legal action and penalties. This aims to safeguard public health and prevent the spread of polio within Saudi Arabia.

Travelers are advised to ensure they have the required vaccination documentation before embarking on their journey to avoid any entry issues or delays.
