A ceremony was held on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during which the new Kiswah of the Holy Kaaba was formally handed over to the custodian responsible for the Kaaba.

The Kiswah, made from hundreds of kilograms of silk along with silver and gold-plated threads, reflects the importance and reverence attached to one of Islam’s most sacred symbols. A special ceremony will be organized to mark the installation of the new covering.
