Savannah Guthrie, a 54-year-old journalist, may return to her role on the Today show within weeks.

Guthrie has been absent since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing from their Arizona home in February. An insider told Page Six that Savannah intends to resume hosting duties after her children’s spring break. Most New York schools are set to resume by April 10.

NBC has not officially announced Guthrie’s return. The insider also noted that Guthrie wants to spend as much time with her family and husband, Michael Feldman, who shares their children, Vale, 11, and Charley, 9.

Guthrie recently visited the Today show’s NYC studio, where she assured her colleagues of her return. She told them, “I love this team and I love this job,” promising to come back.
