Savannah Guthrie, a prominent TV host, has issued an emotional statement regarding her mother Nancy’s kidnapping case after five months. She described it as “five months of agony and unending trauma” for their family.
Guthrie expressed gratitude to Tucson residents for their support, as well as the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Office for their relentless efforts in the search for her missing mother.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since February 1 when she went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Meanwhile, Derrick Callella, a Californian man, pleaded guilty to two counts of harassment after he was found to have demanded money from the Guthrie family on February 4.
Callella admitted that his calls and text messages were aimed at harassing the family by seeking information about the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance.
