Today’s proceedings include a motion to extend the submission deadline of the committee report on serious irregularities within the Korangi Fish Harbour Authority by sixty days. Moreover, there will be a motion for debate on the Rs3.2 trillion circular debt issue within the gas sector.
The agenda also includes motions for review of Pakistan’s ranking at 222 out of 226 in the Global Investment Risk Index and debates on the proportion of reserved seats for minorities. Finally, the Senate Rules will be amended to carry forward unanswered questions to the next day.
