Seraiki Poet Shakir Shujaabadi Hospitalized with Pneumonia and Fever

Renowned Seraiki poet, Shakir Shujaabadi, admitted to District Headquarters Hospital in Lodhran due to illness. His son, Naveed Shakir, revealed that his father was shifted to hospital a day prior after suffering from pneumonia, fever, cough, and general weakness.

Hospital officials confirmed that Shakir Shujaabadi is receiving full medical care and the best available treatment facilities. The duty medical officer stated that the poet was battling with chest infection and urinary complications, for which he has been prescribed antibiotics and other medicines.

Doctors expressed optimism about his steady recovery, noting that his condition is improving gradually. Naveed Shakir appealed to the public to pray for his father’s swift recovery. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf confirmed that Shakir Shujaabadi was in better health and receiving special medical attention, with no effort spared in ensuring proper treatment.
