Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has instructed power distribution companies to refrain from load-shedding from the 1st to the 12th of Muharram.
During a joint meeting with administration officials and religious scholars on Monday, Shah finalized the arrangements for Muharram processions and gatherings.
Religious scholars highlighted instances of load-shedding in their areas and requested the chief minister to ensure K-Electric refrains from power cuts during the holy month, particularly from the 1st to the 12th of Muharram.
Shah assured an uninterrupted power supply to mosques and gatherings, directing K-Electric, HESCO, and SEPCO to ensure no load-shedding occurs during this period.
