Sindh Declares Two-Day Holiday for Hindu Employees on Holi

The Sindh government has announced a two-day holiday for Hindu employees in the province in celebration of Holi, the Hindu festival of colors.

According to an official notification, Hindu employees will have Thursday and Friday off to mark the occasion. The decision is being viewed as a step towards fostering inclusivity and recognizing cultural diversity within the province.

Meanwhile, across the border, Mumbai police have issued a strict advisory for Holi celebrations during Ramadan, which remains in effect until March 18, 2025. Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution and maintain restraint during festivities out of respect for the holy month.

In Pakistan, there is speculation about extended holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr, though an official announcement from the government is still awaited.
