The Sindh Government has extended revised school opening timings for an additional ten days in response to continued cold weather conditions, according to a notification issued on Sunday. This decision follows an initial announcement by the education minister on January 11, which suggested adjusting school schedules for two weeks until today (Sunday). At that time, schools were directed to start at 9 AM instead of their previously scheduled times.

The latest update from the Sindh Government states that all public and private educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the School Education and Literacy Department will continue to operate with these revised timings up to February 4. The extended schedule requires school openings to commence at 9 AM until the 4th of next month, as per the directives provided.
