In Phase 1, 500 buses will be introduced within the first year, with 50 already operational on four major routes. Phase 2 aims to add 1,500 buses, while Phase 3 will deploy 4,000 to 6,000 buses over the next four years, alongside developing charging infrastructure, depots, and bus stations.

A solar plant with up to 1GW capacity is expected to be completed by the end of Phase 3, ensuring sustainable energy for the project.

A pilot project launched in May 2024 introduced 50 electric buses under a rent-to-own model. The Sindh Mass Transit Authority has also approved a contract with the National Energy & Transport Corporation for 100 additional buses.
