Sindh Police vehicles to be equipped with location trackers, says IG

A meeting was held at the Central Police Office on Monday, presided over by IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, to discuss the installation of location trackers in police vehicles.

The meeting was attended by Additional IG Welfare and others.

DIG Traffic and Transport informed the meeting about the details of police vehicles with and without trackers. The installation of tracking systems in all police vehicles is underway. The purpose of installing trackers in motorcycles, police mobiles, and other vehicles is to ensure the proper use of resources.

IG Sindh directed that recommendations be prepared for the provision of necessary vehicles and equipment to police stations. The IG Sindh emphasized the need for efficient use of police resources and directed that all police vehicles be equipped with tracking systems as soon as possible.
