He highlighted ongoing development projects, stating that work on the K-III elevated structure in Lyari River has begun, aimed at preventing water theft from Lyari’s supply. Additionally, the Hub Canal project, expected to be completed by August, will provide 50 million gallons of water per day (MGD) to the city.

Regarding infrastructure, Wahab said road-cutting activities were being closely monitored, and KMC had issued letters to all relevant institutions. “Charges will be imposed wherever road cutting takes place,” he stated, adding that funds would be used for necessary repairs.

He also reaffirmed that neither the provincial government nor the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supports illegal construction. “We will take action against illegal structures,” Wahab declared.
