Tahir Ashrafi Urges Muslim Unity Against Conspiracies, Denounces Israeli Attacks on Civilians

Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has stated that Israel aims to divide Muslims and is conspiring against Pakistan’s nuclear program. Addressing the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Conference, he emphasized the need for collective wisdom and restraint amid tensions between Israel and Iran. Attacks on innocent civilians are deeply tragic for the Muslim world, according to Ashrafi. He stressed the importance of unity among Muslim states in countering external threats, noting that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has discussed a peaceful resolution with Iranian President. Foreign ministers from Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia have also visited Pakistan. Ashrafi emphasized that protecting the Haram al-Sharif is a matter of faith for Muslims and called for leaders to convene in Mecca to develop a joint strategy against emerging challenges.
