Tarar Leads Media to LoC to Dispel Indian Allegations

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar led a visit to the Line of Control (LoC) with both international and domestic media representatives, aiming to directly counter India’s allegations of militant activity along the border. The Ministry of Information facilitated the visit to offer firsthand insights into the situation on the ground.

The initiative was intended to expose what Tarar described as baseless narratives pushed by India and to present an accurate picture of the region. Journalists were escorted to areas that have been labeled by Indian authorities as militant hubs. Instead, reporters encountered civilian communities and local residents who offered testimony challenging those characterizations.

“These are not terrorist camps—these are homes, schools, and fields,” Tarar said during the visit. “We advocate for peace but will defend our sovereignty at all costs.”

He further urged India to focus on the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir rather than leveling accusations against Pakistan.

The visit was framed as part of a broader effort by Pakistan to promote transparency, regional stability, and a narrative grounded in verifiable facts.
