ISLAMABAD: Sixteen Pakistani technology companies met American business representatives and industry experts at Pakistan US Tech Connect 2026, a day long networking event hosted by the Pakistani embassy.
The gathering was organised with Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and was aimed at helping local firms build partnerships and pursue commercial opportunities in the United States.
Discussions focused on export growth, digital services and the path to entering competitive markets abroad. Participating companies represented a range of areas including software development, IT services and emerging technology.
The event is part of a wider push to position Pakistan’s IT sector as an export driven industry. The country has seen steady growth in technology services in recent years, with the government targeting higher foreign exchange earnings from the sector.
Organisers described the session as a practical step toward connecting Pakistani talent with international demand.
