In the last week of February, only 12 incidents were recorded, bringing the total for the year to 323.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry attributed the reduction in attacks to targeting militants and their hideouts in Afghanistan. He also stated that masterminds behind attacks in Islamabad and Bannu were killed during the operation.

KP Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah noted the operation’s impact on law and order, vowing continued actions against militants. He credited the Pakistan Army, police, and other law enforcement agencies for the reduction in incidents.
