Following the incident, fresh contingents from Bannu Police Lines and other security forces took control of the area. During a joint search operation, blood traces, weapons, and equipment abandoned by the attackers were found.

Constable Injured but Brave

Constable Fareedullah was slightly injured during the encounter but received immediate medical assistance for his bravery.

Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed praised the performance of the security personnel, calling them a valuable asset to the province. He stated that terrorists targeting civilians through cowardly acts will face dire consequences.
