Thirteen Dead in Central China Bus Crash Overloaded with 16 Passengers

A bus carrying 16 passengers, exceeding its nine-seat capacity, collided with a truck on Henan’s G40 highway early Thursday. The crash occurred at 2:40 AM Wednesday and resulted in the deaths of 13 people.

The accident involved an SAIC MAXUS passenger bus rated for nine occupants but carrying 16 individuals. The vehicle rear-ended a semi-trailer truck moving ahead.
