Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are set for a busy summer together as Wilson embarks on her Sound of a Woman concert tour across the United States.
Speaking with People Magazine at the premiere of Celebrity Autobiography, Hanks expressed his pride, entertainment, gasp, and sense of being left behind when Wilson takes care of business. However, Wilson mentioned that Hanks comes in and out during her tour, so they see each other then.
When asked about their travel plans, Hanks responded with “Are we?” adding “Okay. I do what I’m told.” He also noted that he is not working while she is on tour.
The couple first met in 1981 on the set of Bosom Buddies but reconnected later and went public with their relationship in 1996. They married in 1988, a year after meeting.
Wilson previously discussed how shared bathroom has been one of the most important bedrocks of their relationship, where they download everything from laughter to daily plans. She also noted that they never go to bed mad, resolving any lingering feelings before bedtime.
