Travis Kelce’s love affair with Taylor Swift extended beyond cheers at the Super Bowl; he eagerly collaborated with the DJ behind several of his favorite tracks, including “Chemistry,” to remix her hit song “Opalite” from her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” The collaboration came to light when Chris Lake, the esteemed producer, shared a series of text exchanges on his Instagram account. In one exchange, Travis responded enthusiastically: “You’re a legend bro; love everything you come out with and ‘Chemistry’ is one of my favorite albums I listen to right now!! Can’t wait to see how you put it together man.” Just three days later, Chris revealed he had created something truly special with the song. When asked about his progress, Travis expressed amazement: “Chris! You’re a legend bro love everything you come out with, and ‘Chemistry’ is one of my favorite albums I listen to right now!! Can’t wait to see how you put it together man.” Three days later, Chris revealed the final product. The remix was met with approval from Taylor Swift, who personally approved the track’s release. “It’s so good dawg,” Travis wrote. “I’m gonna be ripping this s*** every car ride. She loves it too!! She said her teams will reach out asap.” This marks a significant move for both artists in their professional relationships, with Taylor Swift unveiling the limited-edition CD set for the single on February 13.
