Trump Asks Xi to Stop Iran Weapon Supplies

Donald Trump requested Chinese President Xi not supply Iran with weapons via a letter, according to an interview on Fox Business Network. Trump did not specify when the letters were exchanged but stated he does not anticipate shifts in the global oil market due to the conflict or changes in Venezuela affecting his upcoming meeting with Xi.

Xi responded affirmatively that China is not supplying Tehran with arms, as Trump told FBN’s “Mornings with Maria” program. Trump emphasized that China needs oil, which the U.S. has in abundance, and this dynamic will not change during his meeting with Xi next month.
