Iran Intensifies Rhetoric Against Trump, Demands Recognition
Iran has escalated its rhetoric against Donald Trump, with senior officials asserting that Washington must recognize Tehran’s rights and accept Iran’s demands. The latest remarks came from Iranian Defence Ministry spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik, who warned of further setbacks for the US if it fails to comply.
Talaei-Nik told Tasnim News Agency that any failure by Washington would result in more losses and costs for both Americans and the international community. He urged Trump to accept Iran’s demands while preventing additional harm from prolonged conflict.
Compensation Call
As tensions remain high, Tehran has also broadened its demands beyond political rhetoric. Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, has called for compensation for damages in the Persian Gulf region.
Iravani submitted a letter to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council President, urging regional states to fully compensate Iran for recent developments.
Diplomatic Efforts Continue
Despite ongoing criticism of Washington, Iran remains engaged in diplomatic processes. US-Iran mediation efforts intensify as Field Marshal Asim Munir holds key talks.
Iranian officials informed UN leadership that Tehran is still involved in negotiations but accused the US of making excessive demands, adding to already strained discussions.
