US President Donald Trump has announced a significant increase in military operations along the Strait of Hormuz. He directed the US Navy to target all vessels, regardless of size, with no hesitation. According to Trump, 159 enemy naval vessels have already been sunk, while minesweepers work on clearing the waterway.

Trump also stated that any boat involved in laying mines would be destroyed without hesitation. However, he emphasized there is currently no fixed timeline for extending the ceasefire with Iran. The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, dismissed reports suggesting a three-to-five-day extension as incorrect and noted that President Trump has set no deadline.
