To qualify for family residence, applicants must demonstrate a minimum monthly income of either 4,000 dirhams or 3,000 dirhams, along with providing proof of residence.

Additionally, individuals above the age of 18 seeking family Iqama are required to undergo a medical examination, which must be conducted at approved medical facilities to be accepted.

Authorities further clarified that relatives of the Iqama holder who are already residing in the emirate on a temporary entry visa can convert their visitor visa into an Iqama.

The conversion process must be completed within 60 days of arrival in the UAE, as per the new regulations.
