UK Kashmiris Protest Against JAAC Ban, Demand Voting Rights for Refugees

Kashmiris living in the United Kingdom have expressed concern over protest calls issued by the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), according to reports on Sunday. The overseas Kashmiris strongly support a bill passed by the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly and argue that the JAAC’s actions are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region.

Kashmiris residing in the UK assert that voting is a fundamental right of every citizen, including refugees who are also considered Kashmiris, and that this right cannot be taken away.
