Trump warned that time is “running out” for Tehran regarding its nuclear program, while also expressing willingness to negotiate. As tensions rise and UN chief Antonio Guterres urges negotiations, Iranian officials have warned of decisive responses if attacked. Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia claims US aircraft carriers have vulnerabilities, while protesting in Iran has led authorities to blame foreign agents.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s leader Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian discussed efforts to de-escalate tensions through stability discussions, according to the Qatar News Agency. Despite Trump earlier threatening military action over protests, he now focuses on nuclear negotiations with Tehran.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for resolving the crisis without further conflict. Iranian officials have accused foreign agents of orchestrating riots during recent demonstrations in Iran, which resulted in thousands of casualties. These tensions are expected to continue as both sides emphasize potential military responses and diplomatic engagements.
