The department also stated that organizations donating to entities like the Iranian Red Crescent Society could face sanctions. These warnings come after Tehran reportedly proposed imposing such fees as part of broader proposals aimed at resolving tensions with Israel and the U.S.

In addition, new sanctions were announced targeting six individuals, 21 companies, and one vessel linked to Iran. The U.S. also imposed sanctions on certain Chinese entities, though specific details have not been disclosed.
