Victoria Beckham has spoken about her family values and her belief that she does not force her children’s careers. This comes months after her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, called her parents “controlling”.
In a recent interview with Times, Victoria clarified her stance, saying, “There’s a big difference between supporting children with what they want to do and forcing them.” She emphasized that all she has ever done is support her children, help them, and encourage them.
Victoria, 52, also expressed pride in each of her children finding something they enjoy. The three boys used to play football but one by one decided it wasn’t for them, which Victoria said was okay as long as it made them happy.
Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, works as a culinary content creator and has launched his own hot sauce brand. Romeo Beckham, 23, is involved in modelling, while Cruz Beckham, 21, is pursuing music.
Despite these comments, tension within the family remains high, particularly with Brooklyn who recently accused his parents of interfering in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
