Talha Zaheer died at the scene of the accident, and his counsel confirmed that the medical report stated the cause of death was injuries sustained during the incident.

The petitioner argued that the deceased was the sole breadwinner for his family, leaving them in severe financial distress. The compensation suit seeks more than Rs1.3 billion in damages and calls for the tanker owner and driver to be held responsible for the fatal accident.
