Woman Tortured to Death by Family Members Over Alleged Infidelity

A woman accused of an illicit relationship endured severe torture at the hands of her husband and in-laws before succumbing to her injuries. The incident occurred after Shabnam Kausar, a resident of 505-EB, was suspected of having an affair. Her torment began with beatings using batons by her husband, Shahid Saleem.

Despite being initially hospitalized at the THQ Hospital in Burewala due to critical injuries sustained during abuse, her condition continued to deteriorate. Doctors then referred her to Sahiwal General Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment for her wounds. The police confirmed these details on Friday evening.
