Chinese President Xi Jinping stated both Russia and China should oppose “all unilateral bullying and actions that reverse history.” This comment was made during a ceremony in Beijing where he, along with Russian President Vladimir Putin, signed several bilateral agreements. In a joint declaration released by the Kremlin, both countries expressed concern over attempts to dominate global affairs in the colonial era failing but warned of a return to the “law of the jungle,” citing new risks and challenges to global peace and development.
