The Zil Hajj moon has been sighted in Pakistan, with Eidul Azha set to be celebrated on June 17 (Monday), according to local media reports.
The Zonal Committee, tasked with monitoring the moon sighting in the region, has confirmed the sighting. However, the official announcement will come from the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which holds the authority for moon sighting declarations in Pakistan.
“We have received credible reports of the moon sighting from various parts of Peshawar. The formal announcement will be made by the Central Committee shortly,” stated a representative of the Zonal Committee.
