Khalid Pervez, President of the All Pakistan Traders Association, announced the group’s full support for Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) nationwide strike scheduled for August 28.

Pervez stated that the strike is in response to the unbearable surge in electricity bills, which is severely impacting consumers across the country. He emphasized that the trading community stands united with JI to demand relief for the public.

“On August 28, the trading community will wholeheartedly back Jamaat-e-Islami’s strike to provide much-needed relief to the public.” Added Pervez.
