QUETTA: The Balochistan government has directed the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) administration to adopt internationally recognized TNVR methods for managing stray animals rather than resorting to lethal measures. In a statement posted on social media platform X, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that modern, scientific, and humane approaches are key to addressing the issue of stray animals.
A safe and humane animal management process commenced in Quetta under the support of Panah, with efforts aimed at enhancing and sustaining the government’s animal protection policy. The chief minister urged public cooperation in these initiatives, emphasizing that Balochistan is evolving into a safer province for both humans and animals alike.
