QUETTA: The Balochistan government has directed the Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) administration to adopt internationally recognized TNVR methods for managing stray animals rather than resorting to lethal measures. In a statement posted on social media platform X, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that modern, scientific, and humane approaches are key to addressing the issue of stray animals.
A safe and humane animal management process commenced in Quetta under the support of Panah, with efforts aimed at enhancing and sustaining the government’s animal protection policy.
