BSEK announces an extension in the deadline for submitting nomination forms for its annual Student Week competitions along with a revised program schedule. The decision was taken on the special directive of Board Chairman Ghulam Hussain Sohoo, according to the board’s research section.

Under the revised plan, inter-school competitions will now begin on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the board’s auditorium. Schools may submit nomination forms until January 15, allowing additional time for student participation.

The events were rescheduled in view of winter vacations to ensure broader involvement from students and teachers.

According to the updated schedule, English speech competitions will be held on January 20, followed by Urdu speeches on January 21 and Sindhi speeches on January 22. The Qirat competition is scheduled for January 26, Naat recitation on January 27, and the event will conclude with Milli Naghma competitions on January 28.

All contests will begin daily at 9:30 a.m. Board officials said the revised schedule and nomination forms are available for download from the board’s official website and Facebook page. Forms can also be obtained directly from the research section of the Karachi board.
