The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is set to embark on a diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from February 26 to 28. His visit comes at a critical juncture, with his participation in the Open-Ended Extraordinary Ministerial Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee scheduled for February 26 in Jeddah.

The meeting is crucial as it will deliberate on Israel’s latest unlawful actions in the Occupied West Bank, including plans to annex territories and implement Israeli sovereignty. Senator Ishaq Dar will voice Pakistan’s stance during this session. His remarks are expected to underscore Islamabad’s firm opposition to these moves by Israel, which seek to expand illegal settlements in Palestinian areas.
