Field Marshal Munir reconfirms UAE security commitment to Pakistan

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed on Monday that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are integral to Pakistan’s own well-being, emphasizing enduring historical ties and a strong strategic partnership. During a meeting with Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, the Chief of Army Staff and Commander of Defence Forces highlighted the importance of bolstering bilateral cooperation across sectors such as economic collaboration, investment, and security.

They discussed ways to further solidify ties between Pakistan and UAE. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments and underscored the need for ongoing coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Munir expressed sincere gratitude to the UAE Government for its decades of support, noting that such assistance reflects the deep historical bond between their nations. He commended the UAE leadership’s constructive role in advancing economic and social development within Pakistan.

Munir underlined Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining a partnership that serves both countries’ interests while contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
