Additionally, Google products such as Pixel phones, smart watches, and home devices will be integrated into Liberty’s operation units in Britain, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium. This expansion of their existing partnership aims to improve network security and reliability while continuing autonomous network operations.

Google Cloud’s President for the EMEA region, Tara Brady, highlighted that the company’s goal is to simplify complex tasks and bring value to customers through technology.

The deal will also benefit small-business customers by providing access to cybersecurity, AI, and cloud-based services. It will explore monetizing Liberty’s telecom data without compromising privacy.

In recent years, tech giants have been exploring collaborations in the telecoms sector and investing in 5G and fiber technologies.
