Minister Naqvi shared the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, highlighting the move’s significance in facilitating citizens. The decision reflects the government’s commitment to streamlining passport services and combating bribery and corruption within passport offices.

The announcement comes in the wake of recent challenges faced by passport authorities, including shortages of lamination sheets essential for passport issuance. Despite these obstacles, the government remains dedicated to improving service efficiency and meeting the growing demand for passports among the populace.
