While Islamabad experienced rainfall in April and May, mitigating the heat, the coming days are projected to bring a significant increase in temperatures.

Mehr Sahibzada Khan, Director General of the Department of Meteorology, highlighted that Pakistan is expected to receive above-average rainfall this year, particularly affecting Sindh and Balochistan.

As temperatures begin to rise, areas of South Punjab are also expected to come under the influence of the heat wave.

Meteorologists have advised citizens to take precautions, including covering their heads and staying hydrated, to mitigate the effects of the impending heat wave.
