A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by a speeding dumper near Powerhouse Chowrangi in North Karachi, rescue officials reported.
The impact proved fatal, with the victim dying on the spot. Police shifted the body to a nearby hospital while the dumper driver fled the scene, taking the vehicle with him.
The incident adds to growing concerns over unchecked heavy traffic on Karachi’s roads, where fatal accidents involving commercial vehicles continue to rise. Authorities have launched an investigation and are searching forthe suspect.
