Officials revealed that the delivery time for ordinary passports will be reduced from 21 days to 14 days, with plans to implement this change within the next 15 days. Naqvi also directed the implementation of a fully cashless system in passport offices, which he said would reduce the influence of agents and increase transparency in passport issuance.

The meeting focused on finalizing the business passport issuance system and improving home delivery services for passports. Additionally, Naqvi emphasized the need to establish a dedicated Passport Authority to oversee reforms efficiently. Relevant authorities were instructed to expedite progress in this regard.
