Earlier, Pakistan called upon the UN Security Council to ensure the implementation of its resolution advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza. Ambassador Munir Akram emphasized the need for immediate action, urging the Council to impose a ban on the export of weapons and ammunition to Israel. Pakistan stands firm in its support for the Palestinian people and condemns the use of force by Israel, particularly against civilians, including women and children, in Gaza.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with health officials reporting over 34,097 casualties, extensive damage to buildings, and severe shortages of essential supplies such as food, water, and medical aid.
