Pakistan repels Taliban attacks in Balochistan and KP, 435 militants killed

In Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani forces have repelled Taliban attacks as part of Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. The offensive saw the deaths of 435 militants and injuries to 630 others, with multiple posts and vehicles destroyed.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that all Taliban assaults were effectively halted under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. One soldier from FC Balochistan North was martyred during confrontations; five others sustained injuries.

In northern Balochistan, the Taliban launched ground attacks at Qila Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman districts, while conducting fire raids in 25 other sites. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Taliban attempted a ground assault at one location and carried out fire raids at twelve points before they were thwarted.

During overnight operations, 40 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed across the province.

Security sources reported that follow-up operations remain ongoing. The Pakistan Air Force conducted airstrikes in Jalalabad, destroying ammunition depots and drone storage facilities, inflicting severe losses on the Taliban and extremist factions. Pakistani forces successfully targeted the Khogani base in Nangarhar province during air operations in Afghanistan.

Thus far, 435 militants have been killed, 630 wounded, and 188 Taliban checkpoints were destroyed; Pakistani forces seized 31 enemy posts while destroying 188 tanks and armored vehicles. Effective airstrikes have hit 51 different locations across Afghanistan.
