Pakistan to Export SUVs and Hybrids

Pakistan is gearing up to venture into the global automotive market, with plans to export sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and hybrid cars in the near future.

In an announcement by the Ministry of Industries and Production, it was revealed that the country will initiate its export journey by sending out 50 locally manufactured SUVs from Toyota Indus Motors in the initial phase. Following this, the focus will shift to exporting Toyota Indus’ Hybrid Corolla Cross in the subsequent phase.

Highlighting the collaborative efforts, the Ministry disclosed that Toyota Indus has dispatched 100 mechanical engineers from Pakistan to Japan for specialized training. The Ministry underscored the recognition received by the Pakistani workforce in Japan for their remarkable skills and expertise.
