PM Shehbaz Sharif Announces 150 Buses for Sindh

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Wednesday his decision to allocate 150 buses from a pool of 300 to Sindh, highlighting the importance of cooperation between provinces for economic development.

Speaking in Karachi, the Prime Minister underscored his amicable relations with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, acknowledging the mandates of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Punjab.

PM Shehbaz emphasized the necessity of collaborative efforts between the federal government and provinces to bolster the nation’s economy, noting that unpopular decisions may be required for the betterment of the masses.

Earlier in the day, PM Shehbaz paid homage to the mausoleum of renowned poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal. He laid a wreath on Iqbal’s grave and offered fateha, accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori.

During the visit, President Raisi also paid tribute to Iqbal, sharing his remarks in the visitors’ book. Notable attendees at the mausoleum included Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal.
