President Alvi Emphasizes Strengthening Ties with Russia, Italy, and Mongolia

President Dr. Arif Alvi underscored the importance of expanding trade, economic, cultural, and people-to-people relations with Russia, Italy, and Mongolia during separate meetings with the ambassadors and delegates of these countries.

In discussions with Mr. Albert P. Khorev, the Ambassador-designate of the Russian Federation, President Alvi emphasized Pakistan's keenness to bolster bilateral relations with Russia across various sectors such as trade, economy, tourism, and culture. He expressed optimism that the new ambassador would further enhance ties between the two nations.

Turning to Ms. Marilina Armellin, the Ambassador-designate of Italy, President Alvi emphasized the need to elevate bilateral trade and investment opportunities. He urged Italian investors to leverage Pakistan's business-friendly environment, particularly highlighting the potential under the Special Investment Facilitation Council. The President also acknowledged the significant role played by the Pakistani diaspora in Italy in fostering bilateral relations.

In a discussion with Mr. Tuvvshin Badra, the non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia, President Alvi emphasized the mutual benefits of strengthening trade, economic, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Mongolia. He congratulated the newly appointed envoys and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute to the enhancement of bilateral relations with Pakistan.
